My brother had a girlfriend who we'll call "K." They dated for a couple of years. During that time, my dad needed a kidney transpant. "K" donated one of her own kidneys! About a year later, they broke up. "K" stole $5,000 from my brother and called him all sorts of horrible names. (My brother had his role in it, too, of course). They haven't spoken in over a year. Now, Christmas is coming up. Mom called me and asked me to find "K"'s address so she could send her a card. I told her that was a horrible idea and that it was disrespecting my brother if she did so. Who is right?
